Travelodge return to the Bromley Mall!

Acting on behalf of Bromley Mall Limited, owners of the Bromley’s first modern shopping mall which was originally built in 1970, our Sevenoaks office have recently agreed terms with Travelodge who have the acquired the former Ibis hotel which fronts Elmfield Road.  The building formerly known as Berkeley House which in latter years was the headquarters of Bromley’s tech giant Splash Damage, was extended and converted into an hotel during the late 2010’s. The property became vacant early in 2024 when Ibis went out of business.

The financial terms of the transaction remain confidential although we can confirm the Travelodge lease is for 25 yeas, so they are here to stay!

Mike Lewis, partner with Michael Rogers LLP commented “We were delighted to represent Bromley Mall Limited in this transaction which follows other recent successful lettings of retail units in the Mall to Gopuff and Rhino Boulder.  Our clients are in the process of finalising plans for a comprehensive face-lift of Bromley Mall which I am confident will attract considerable interest once the works have been completed”.
